Pumpkin Butter

Spread on warm toast, rolls, raisin bread or French toast

Ingredients

Add canned solid pack pumpkin to shopping list 1/4 cup canned solid pack pumpkin

Add nutmeg to shopping list 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Add allspice to shopping list 1/8 teaspoon allspice

Add cinnamon to shopping list 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Add butter, unsalted (2 sticks) to shopping list 1/2 lb. butter, unsalted (2 sticks)

Directions:

Heat pumpkin in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly until it dries out (about 2 minutes). Let cool.

By hand fold pumpkin puree with nutmeg, allspice and cinnamon into butter.

Refrigerate up to two weeks.
